Marsh Podcast: The discussion highlights integrated support systems, peer programs, and emerging AI-enabled tools as scalable approaches for improving resilience, early intervention, and overall aviation safety performance.
Price Forbes: Post-conference write-up.
The article argues that psychosocial factors such as fatigue, chronic stress, psychological safety, and organizational culture are not peripheral wellbeing concerns, but operational variables that directly influence aviation safety. The article highlights how certification fears and institutional distrust contribute to widespread help-avoidance behaviors among aviation professionals, exposing a gap between workforce realities and existing safety systems.
